Nwaka Condemns Her Rumored Defection To APC, Describes Peddlers of the Rumor As Wicked


…Reaffirms Her Total Commitment to PDP 

The Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Angela Nwaka has described as wicked her rumored defection from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to All Progressive Congress, APC.

Hon. Nwaka in a statement said, “I belong to the PDP under which I was elected into the Delta State House of Assembly to represent the good people of Aniocha South and I have no plans to leave the party for any other political party”.

“I know that my political detractors are peddling the wicked rumors, but they have failed because even themselves know that taking to such cheap blackmail will not take them anywhere. They are afraid of my popularity. They know that in a free and fair PDP primaries, I will get landslide victory over them. They just want to use the defection rumors to cause disaffection between me and critical PDP stakeholders in the state. But they have failed”. Nwaka stated.

The Lawmaker disclosed that she had since announced her intention to seek reelection into the Delta State House of Assembly under the platform of the PDP and that she is confidence that she will emerge victorious with the support of the people.

Hon. Nwaka charged the PDP family at both local, state and federal levels as well as her supporters and the good people of Aniocha South to discountenance the wicked rumor as it was another step by mischief makers to pursue their devilish plans.

The Lawmaker noted that she had provided quality representation to the people of Aniocha South, despite being a first timer in the state legislature and would achieve more for the Constituency if given another opportunity.

She urged her constituents not to be distracted or be deceived by the antics of desperate politicians but to be law abiding and crave for the best at all times.

“I represent hope. I have given hope to my people. My good people of Aniocha South are happy with the quality representation I have given to them. They love me and always supported me and will continue to support me. I have never disappointed them and I can not at this time involve in an act against the popular wish of my people. I will continue to work with our amiable governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa to attract development to Aniocha South Constituency”,  Nwaka emphasized.
