JAMB Sets Nov 30 Deadline for 2021–2025 Admission Offers on CAPS

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a final directive to all candidates holding unaccepted admission offers from previous academic sessions spanning 2021 to 2025.

Affected applicants now have until November 30, 2026, to officially log into the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and either accept or reject their pending offers.

The examination board warned that any pending offer left unattended after the November 30 window closes will be permanently revoked, forfeiting the candidate’s claim to that placement and reverting their admission status back to unassigned.

JAMB clarified that this directive applies to all categories of unresolved admissions, including candidates who previously switched academic programs or moved to different tertiary institutions without formally resolving their initial placement on the portal.

For candidates intending to take up these admissions, accepting the offer on CAPS immediately enables the generation and printing of their official JAMB admission letters.

Conversely, candidates who reject unwanted offers allow participating institutions to free up quota spaces and regularize their academic database. Applicants are advised to access their profile dashboards promptly to complete the verification before the system cutoff.
