The Governor has by this appointment shown that loyalty pays and can be rewarded.
“Having known the appointee for some time now, I am confident that he will give a good account of himself by being a plus to the administration. Mr. Jerry Ogor indeed is a round peg in a round hole.”
On his part, Ogor in a telephone chat, appreciated the Governor for the appointment which he said was a call for greater service.
In his words, “since my appointment by Governor Okowa, I have already hit the ground running as I intend by the grace of God, contribute my quota to the success of the Stronger Delta Agenda of his Excellency.

Governor Okowa is a listening Governor and I will use my office to promote the programmes and policies of the state government to the citizenry and the concerns of the citizens back to him for the overall success of his administration.”
