JAMB Clears Portal, Orders Fresh Upload of 2025 WAEC Results
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that all candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session must re-upload their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC SSCE) results.
In a statement issued through its weekly bulletin on Monday, JAMB explained that all previously uploaded O’level results had been cleared from its portal to prevent discrepancies during admission processing.
According to the Board, some candidates who registered for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with “awaiting results” had uploaded incomplete or provisional WAEC results before the release of the final 2025 SSCE results.
“To address this issue and ensure accuracy, JAMB has mandated that every candidate must upload their official WAEC results afresh, regardless of whether they differ from what was previously submitted,” the statement read.
The Board stressed that failure to comply with this directive could affect candidates’ chances of being considered for admission. It therefore advised all UTME candidates to visit any accredited JAMB centre to complete the re-upload process immediately.
JAMB also reassured candidates that the move was part of its efforts to strengthen transparency, eliminate errors, and ensure a seamless admission process for 2025.
