Nigerian Law School Opens Bar Part II Admission for 2025/2026 Session


The Nigerian Law School (NLS) has announced the opening of applications for admission into the Bar Part II Course for the 2025/2026 academic session, beginning Monday, September 11, 2025.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, Ms. Aderonke Osho, and posted on the official Council of Legal Education X account on Tuesday, the institution said the application window will close on Friday, October 31, 2025.

According to the notice, the new session will commence on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the NLS Headquarters in Abuja, as well as campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola, and Port Harcourt.

Eligibility for Admission

The NLS stated that only the following candidates are eligible to apply; Nigerian law graduates from Nigerian universities, Foreign-trained law graduates who completed and passed the Bar Course at the Nigerian Law School and Applicants were also advised to confirm with their universities that their data has been forwarded to the Nigerian Law School before making payment of the non-refundable application fee.

Application Process

Intending applicants must visit the official website (www.nigerianlawschooledung) for instructions.

Completed application forms and references should be downloaded, filled, and submitted to the Nigerian Law School through the applicant’s Dean of Law by Friday, October 31, 2025.

Approved re-admission and cleared referred admission cases should apply via the portal’s re-admission section, attach approval or clearance letters, and forward documents to the Secretary to the Council by the same deadline.

The statement emphasized that late submissions will not be entertained and applicants must keep their application numbers for checking admission status.
