Isoko North 2019: I Am Still Very Much In The Race – Akegwure
Top contender for the Isoko North State Constituency seat at the Delta State House of Assembly, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr Israel Okpure Akegwure has said that he is still very much in the race and had never given a thought of backing out.
Akegwure made this reassurance Tuesday, October 2, 2018 to his supporters during a media chat with journalists in Ozoro, saying, “I am sorry, I have been unavailable for the past days, as I had some personal issues to settle, but I am fully back now, and ready to run the race with grace to the finish line. So saddle up your horses, and let us win this together for Isoko North. Let us make history together, and make Isoko North great again. God bless you all”.
The House of Assembly hopeful called on all Isoko North Constituents to discard false statements concerning him due to his absence from public engagements. “Please pay no heed to mischief makers, and saboteurs of true democracy. I never back out from a fight and would not start now”.
He further reassured his supporters that he will not let them down, adding that he is very ready to win the primaries.
