Breaking News: Mini Van Burst Into Flames In Asaba

A Mini Van used in conveying goods was on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 consumed in flames.

The incident occurred at about 2:45 pm at the popular GABBS Supermarket which caused a major traffic jam for motorists plying the ever busy Okpanam Road and Maryam Babangida Way.

Over hundred helpless sympathizers tried stopping the fire with mini fire extinguishers but were overwhelmed by the blazing fire under the scorching sun.

Firefighters from the Delta State Fire Service who later arrived the scene with a loaded water tank, were seen trying to salvage the situation.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained but no lives were lost in the inferno as the occupants of the vehicle escaped unharmed. Details later…
