Delta Govt Moves to Regulate E-Hailing, Shuttle Services

The Delta State Government has scheduled a meeting with operators of e-hailing services, private cab services, airport shuttle services and VIP shuttle services over the issuance of operating permits.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

According to a government special announcement, the meeting will take place at the Ground Floor, Cluster D Hall, Professor Chike Edozien Secretariat, Asaba.

All operators concerned have been advised to attend the meeting promptly, as issues relating to the issuance of operating permits will be discussed.

The meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for the government and affected operators to address matters concerning the requirements and process for obtaining the relevant operating permits.

Operators of the listed transport services are therefore urged to take note of the date, time and venue and attend the meeting as scheduled.
