NYSC Announces Date for 2025 Batch B Stream II Orientation Nationwide
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course will commence nationwide on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, across all designated orientation camps.
In a statement released via its official Facebook page on Monday, the NYSC confirmed that registration will run until midnight on Friday, September 26, 2025, while the swearing-in ceremony will also hold on the same day. The three-week programme is expected to conclude with a closing ceremony on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
However, the NYSC noted that orientation in Kwara State will begin later, from Tuesday, September 30 to Monday, October 20, 2025.
The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu, urged all Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) to report to their assigned camps as indicated in their call-up letters. He stressed strict compliance with registration requirements.
Foreign-trained graduates are required to present their international passports and original copies of uploaded documents, while graduates of polytechnics and monotechnics must produce their National Diploma certificates.
He also warned against the use of fake documents, noting that offenders would be handed over to law enforcement agencies.
For those with lost call-up letters, the NYSC directed PCMs who collected theirs from schools to obtain a police report and sworn affidavit before returning to their institutions. Those who printed online can simply reprint.
Addressing safety concerns, the DG cautioned PCMs against night travels, advising that once it is 6:00pm, they should stop at military or police barracks, NYSC secretariats, or corps lodges nearest to their destination.
He further advised corps members to patronize only government-approved motor parks and transport companies to avoid falling victim to criminals.
The NYSC also provided additional guidelines;
Married, pregnant, and nursing mothers posted outside their husbands’ states may undergo the orientation in their state of residence, provided they present marriage and residence proof.
All corps members must present their original call-up letters, school identity cards, statements of result or certificates, and medical fitness certificates issued by government or military hospitals.
Medical and allied health graduates must also present proof of registration with their professional bodies.
Brigadier-General Nafiu concluded by wishing all PCMs safe travels and a successful service year.
