F1: Piastri Seals Hat Trick in Miami Grand Prix

Oscar Piastri claimed his third consecutive Formula 1 victory at the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, delivering a dominant drive that led him to a commanding 1-2 finish.

Teammate Lando Norris followed closely in second, as reported by BeIN Sports on Monday.

George Russell completed the podium for Mercedes, while Max Verstappen, who started from pole, finished fourth after a challenging race.

According to the official Formula 1 website on Monday, Piastri’s latest triumph extends his lead in the World Championship standings.

The 24-year-old Australian put in a masterful performance, overtaking Verstappen on lap 14 and maintaining control through to the checkered flag.

This win marks Piastri’s fourth of the season and strengthens his position as a serious contender for the 2025 title.

He now leads the standings by 16 points over Norris, who secured second place to complete McLaren’s dominant outing, as also reported by The Guardian and ESPN.

The race began with Verstappen out front, but an early lock-up at Turn One allowed Piastri to close the gap.

Demonstrating calm under pressure, Piastri executed a clean and decisive move to take the lead. Verstappen later lost third place to Russell during a Virtual Safety Car period.

Piastri’s victory also marks McLaren’s first trio of consecutive race wins in over 25 years, signaling a remarkable resurgence for the team. The event drew a record crowd of 275,000 spectators over the weekend.

As the season unfolds, Piastri’s consistent pace and McLaren’s strategic excellence continue to establish them as major forces in the championship fight.
