Delta PDP Chairman Urges Political Appointees To Help Their Constituents


The chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Delta State chapter, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for appointing professionals and qualified Deltans from all units in the state to occupy public offices, noting that it is a demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to building a stronger Delta State.

Olorogun Esiso while speaking at the weekend, urged the political appointees to carry out empowerment programmes for their people and carry them along in the scheme of things to enable them feel the impact of the government.

He urged the political appointees to focus on the discharge of their duties to work with Governor Okowa with utmost diligence to enable him succeed in building a Stronger Delta State.

The PDP chairman also called on political appointees to carry out regular consultation with the people in order to know their needs and keep them abreast with the policies and programmes of the Okowa government.

Olorogun Kingsley Esiso while noting that everyone cannot get political appointment, urged all to support the Okowa administration as everyone will benefit from his elaborate empowerment programme and development projects.

He assured Deltans that Governor Okowa will surpass his previous achievements in his second term, adding that the PDP led government in the state will remain focused and committed to building a Stronger Delta State.
