Aghoghovbia Congratulates Atiku, Okowa, Assures of Massive Mobilization Ahead of 2019 Polls

A Matron of the South South Movement for Atiku (SSM4A), Olorogun Mrs Grace Aghoghovbia has congratulated His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for clinching the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential ticket at the just conducted primary in Rivers State.

Mrs Aghoghovbia felicitations were conveyed in a statement signed by the Coordinator of the South South Movement for Atiku, Barr. Ejiro Nomuoja, were she also extended her congratulations to the State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for successfully overseeing the PDP presidential convention which has been adjudged as the most credible election ever conducted in Nigeria.

Aghoghovbia who doubles as the Convener of the Okowa Continuity Movement (OCM) and the Executive Assistant on Beautification,to the Delta State Governor,implored Nigerians to rally round the candidacy of Alhaji Atiku in ensuring a massive victory at the 2019 polls and to bring to reality, the burning quest of restructuring the country.

The Statement as obtained by Asaba Metro reads in part;

“As a group, we wish to express our happiness at the emergence of our father, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who we had anchored our faith and hope on to better the fortunes of Nigerians.

“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on October 6-7, 2018, which was an affair between 13 brothers and had the selection of Atiku Abubakar as the 2019 presidential flag bearer of our great party, is a testimony to the fact that he represents uniting force in Nigeria.

“We want to say a big thank you to all PDP delegates for voting the Waziri Adamawa and for keeping Our Hope for a Restructured Nigeria promised by Atiku, alive.

“To the great team which provided the best electoral process in the history of democratic Nigeria ably led by His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, we are proud to be part of this historic event which will forever be a reference point for future elections in the country.

“As a group with much strength in the Southern part of the country, Restructuring Nigeria is one of our motives for supporting Atiku. Atiku stands for Restructure which is dear to his heart even before declaring his intentions to vie for seat of the President of Nigeria.

“We call on all Nigerians especially those of us in the Niger Delta region of the country to sustain the support for Atiku because our vote for Atiku is a vote for a Restructured Nigeria which the APC led government has failed to do despite having it in their manifesto.

The statement further expressed delight with the public endorsement of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by former president Olusegun Obasanjo, saying that the coast is now clear for Atiku to easily focus on dislodging the APC government from Aso Rock.
