As the race for 2019 fast approaches, a non- governmental organization and a support group of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (GCON), Atiku Care Foundation (ACF) has extended its vanguard to Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State with the inauguration of Officers to foster the mission of the organization in the local council.

The event which was held on Saturday, January 13, 2017 in Issele-Azagba at the residence of the Director of Integrated Development at Atiku Care Foundation, Delta State Chapter, Dr. Anthony Okonkwo, had the installation of Mr. Emmanuel Etiaka as the Local Government Coordinator and 17 others as his lieutenants.

Inaugurating the Local Executives, the Delta State Chairman of Atiku Care Foundation, Barr. Splent Martins Ubuluku charged the new helmsmen to propagate the ideas and philosophies of Atiku Abubakar to all sons and daughters of Aniocha Local Government and identify the less privileged and those who need the caring hands of the foundation.

“We are here today to inaugurate the Aniocha North Executives of Atiku Care Foundation which is the 10th LGA inauguration in the State. “This organization is also structured that, to some extent, we have a diamond eye towards 2019 and I urge Deltans to key into the ideas and philosophies of Atiku Abubakar because he is a man that has the capacity, the experience, contact and the exposure to turn things round in this country.

“He is the only man that is preaching the crusade of restructuring Nigeria, and if that happens, majority of Nigerians will start to experience good life, good things and Nigeria as a country will run things the way it is done in other climes.”

In his speech, the Coordinator of the Foundation in Aniocha North, Emmanuel Etiaka said that Nigeria needs Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as president, noting that he alone can unite Nigerians, provide jobs for the teeming population and care for the poor who makes up the majority in the country. Hence the acceptance of Atiku Care Foundation in his Local Government Area.

“Aniocha North is one of the most blessed local governments in the country. We are very rich in human resources and Atiku is a friend of the local government, he has many friends around here. We need to be well positioned and that is why we are taking the bull by the horn to place ourselves before the game gets too far and it will be very good to show our support for him.

Etiaka while expressing displeasure at the worrisome state of affairs in the country said, “This is 2018 and Nigeria is in its lowest ebb, the country is dis-united, the country is passing through alot of difficult times. We would need a president who can unite Nigeria and that is the most important thing and over time, Atiku Abubakar has gained the trust of the people, has been tested and I know that across every party, he will unite Nigerians.”
