61st Birthday: Ighrakpata Describes Governor Okowa As A Blessing To Humanity


The Deputy Chief Whip of the Delta State House of Assembly and Member Representing Uvwie Constituency in the House, Hon (Chief) Solomon Ighrakpata has felicitated with the State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa on his 61st birthday anniversary.

Hon Ighrakpata in a statement in Asaba, described Governor Okowa as a special breed and gift to many generations, stressing that his taking to politics was a blessing to humanity.

While highlighting some of the laudable achievements of Dr Okowa as governor of Delta State in the past five years, the Lawmaker who is the Chairman, House Committee on Special Duties, expressed happiness over the unalloyed support of Deltans to the administration.

Hon Ighrakpata noted that as the Chairman of the South South Governor’s forum, Dr Okowa has proven to be a worthy ambassador of Delta State, saying that his leadership styles and love for perfection were worthy of emulation.

The Uvwie Lawmaker said at 61, God has been so kind to the governor and his household and can never abandon them, even as they grapple with the challenges of Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the world.

Hon Ighrakpata on behalf of his immediate family and constituents congratulated Dr Okowa on the birthday anniversary and prayed for more of God’s grace and blessings upon his life.

While assuring the governor of the sustained support of the people of Uvwie to his administration, the Deputy Chief Whip expressed optimism that the pains of the Coronavirus on the people will soon be a thing of the past.
