The Forum said the Commissioner had distinguished himself in public service through his commitment to the development of Delta State and his understanding of the strategic importance of effective communication in governance.

DOPF particularly praised Aniagwu for his ability to communicate government policies and programmes, clarify issues of public interest and engage stakeholders in ways that promote greater understanding of government activities.

The online publishers also commended the Commissioner for maintaining a cordial and mutually respectful relationship with journalists, particularly online publishers across the state.

According to the Forum, Aniagwu’s accessibility and willingness to engage with members of the media have helped create an environment for constructive dialogue between government and journalists.
