Delta 2019: Okowa’s Victory Proof of PDP’s Sagacity – Macaulay


…Says Its Victory for Deltans.

As chants of the electoral victory of Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa continue to rent the political air of Delta State, political pundits are doling out their opinion on what the victory portends.

Former Secretary to Delta State Government, Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay has described the electoral victory of the incumbent governor Okowa as proof of the sagacity of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.

Macaulay while speaking to newsmen in Government House Chapel, after the victory Thanksgiving Service, said the victory is a win for all Deltans.

According to him, Okowa’s reelection, like the reemergence of a phoenix, held no surprise because the turnout of voters and Okowa’s large support base  is testament of his sterling leadership qualities and efforts.

He said, ”Senator Okowa has proved himself invaluable in every material particular to Deltans, his supporters as well as onlookers, hence no victory is too great for his efforts. I do believe that the development strides and empowerment disposition in his first term are but a litmus test, as Deltans will sure get ten times over the package with his reemergence.”

In the same vein, Macaulay commended Deltans for repaying Okowa’s efforts with their trust, adding that their future expectations will be met.

He encouraged all opposition to join in the victory dance and work with the PDP in moving the state towards development’s forward.
