BREAKING: Successful Applicants for Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Jobs to Begin Screening Process – CDCFIB

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, directing applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) to check their application status ahead of physical screening and document verification.

In a press release issued by the Board’s Secretariat on Saturday, June 13 and signed by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) A.M. Jibril, Secretary to the Board, CDCFIB disclosed that the next stage of the recruitment process will focus on physical screening and credential verification for successful applicants.

According to the Board, candidates who participated in the online CBT conducted in November 2025 are required to visit the official recruitment portal between Monday, June 15 and Friday, June 20, 2026, to confirm their status.

Applicants are expected to log into the portal using the Application Number generated during initial registration.

The Board stated that shortlisted candidates would be required to upload relevant credentials and select their preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise.

Candidates were advised to strictly comply with all instructions provided on the recruitment portal to avoid disqualification.

CDCFIB emphasized that the entire recruitment process remains completely free, warning applicants against making payments to individuals, agents, groups, or organisations promising assistance with shortlisting, screening allocation, document uploads, or final selection.

The Board also cautioned members of the public against fraudulent recruitment messages, fake websites, and unauthorized persons falsely claiming affiliation with the recruitment exercise.

According to the statement, all official information and updates regarding the exercise will only be communicated through approved official channels and the CDCFIB recruitment portal.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process in accordance with established recruitment guidelines.
