Pastor Jimmy Odukoya Hits Back At Critics Over Second Marriage
Pastor Jimmy Odukoya has appeared to respond to criticism surrounding his remarriage, declaring that people who cannot make the ultimate sacrifice for him have no right to condemn his personal decisions.
The pastor shared the message on his Instagram Story amid reactions to his recent remarriage and introduction of his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to his church congregation.
“If you cannot die for me, don’t pressure me. And if you did not die for me, you cannot condemn me,” he wrote.
The statement comes after Odukoya publicly introduced his new wife during a church service at the Fountain of Life Church headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos, on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
His remarriage has generated conversations on social media, with some users expressing support while others questioned the development following the death of his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, in 2005.
Before the church introduction, Odukoya had shared a photograph of two hands wearing wedding rings on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “To New Beginnings.”
The pastor’s latest message has added to the ongoing conversations about his remarriage and the public scrutiny surrounding the personal lives of religious leaders.
