Film Village and Leisure Park at Ugbolu, Another Milestone by Okowa’s Government – Osanebi
The Chairman, Delta State House of Assembly Committee on Culture and Tourism, Rt Hon Friday Osanebi, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the film village and leisure park project located in Ugbolu, Oshimili North local government area of the state.
Reacting to the Tuesday’s ratification of the State Executive Council approval of the project by the Delta State House of Assembly, Osanebi described the development as commendable and thanked the Governor for the initiative.
Osanebi who represents Ndokwa East and Former Deputy Speaker of the house, stated that the project when completed will be of great values to the lives of many Deltans, particularly the youths.
The Lawmaker expressed optimism that the project will be completed in record time, and urged the firm handling the project to ensure early completion and standards.
He said the Stronger Delta mantra of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is on course, stressing that all strata of the state being impacted positively by the Okowa’s administration.
Osanebi stressed “I urge all Deltans to continue to lend their support for Okowa’s PDP led government as it is impacting on the people positively. Construction of a Film Village and Leisure Park at Ugbolu-Asaba by the state government in conjunction with NJZC Int’l Construction Limited at the contract sum of Five point Seven Billion naira (N5.7bn) is another milestone of Governor Okowa. I commend him for that and prayed that the wherewithal will be there to ensure the early completion of the project “.
“The project was informed by the need to attract more investment opportunities to the State and create jobs for the teeming population. I commend the State Executive Council for approving it. I also commend the speed of light at which the Delta State House of Assembly attended to the governor’s letter for ratification of the EXCO approval.” Osanebi stated.
