Oborevwori Congratulates Ator Okolosi on Assembly Swearing-In, Urges Quality Representation for Udu

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated Hon. Ator Okolosi on his successful election and official swearing-in as the Member representing Udu State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Governor Oborevwori expressed his congratulations on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, while receiving the newly inaugurated lawmaker at the Government House in Asaba. Okolosi was accompanied by the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, along with senior political leaders and community stakeholders from Udu Local Government Area.

Addressing the delegation, Governor Oborevwori expressed gratitude to the people of Udu Constituency for demonstrating confidence in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate during the September 19 by-election.

The Governor tasked Hon. Okolosi with justifying the trust reposed in him by the electorate through responsive, accountable, and impactful representation at the state legislature. He urged the lawmaker to align his legislative duties with the administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda to deliver sustainable development to the grassroots.

“The people of Udu have spoken through the ballot box, and their mandate carries high expectations,” Oborevwori stated. He charged the new lawmaker to remain firmly committed to the ideals and unity of the party while working tirelessly to enhance the wellbeing of his constituents throughout the remainder of the tenure.

In his response, Hon. Ator Okolosi expressed deep appreciation to Governor Oborevwori, Speaker Guwor, APC leadership, and the entire people of Udu State Constituency for their unwavering backing before, during, and after the by-election.

Okolosi assured the Governor and the party leadership of his determination to foster unity, sponsor meaningful legislation, and work collaboratively with the state executive to bring crucial developmental projects to Udu Local Government Area.
