“I Don Pay for Phone Tire” — Peller Speaks After Phones Were Stolen at His Wedding

Popular Nigerian content creator Peller has spoken out after several guests reportedly had their phones stolen during his traditional wedding ceremony to fellow content creator Jarvis, saying he has already spent money replacing some of the missing devices.

Reacting in an Instagram post after the event, Peller expressed frustration over the numerous calls he had received from victims, writing:

“They stole a lot of phone yesterday everybody is calling I don pay for phone tire. August 8th is the day there will join us together as one,which is White wedding 100 guest only pls if I did not send u an invitation pls do not come, agbero pls don’t come and stay outside the place they will pack any agbero wey there see for outside and take u to where u don’t know. because u guys thief many phones yesterday I just dey get different calls about people phone been snatch outside.”

The social media personality announced that his white wedding, scheduled for August 8, will be a strictly private ceremony with only 100 invited guests. He warned that only those with official invitations should attend and cautioned against loitering around the venue, citing security concerns.

The incident has generated widespread reactions on social media, with many sympathising with affected guests while others called for improved security at high-profile events.
