Delta Govt Announces CNG Refuelling Points in Asaba, Warri
The Delta State Government has announced the roll-out of designated Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) refueling stations across key commercial hubs, urging commercial drivers, transport operators, and private vehicle owners to transition to the cleaner, cheaper fuel alternative.
In a official announcement issued by the state government, authorities highlighted CNG as a cost-effective alternative designed to drastically crash daily vehicle operating expenses while curbing carbon emissions compared to conventional petrol (PMS) and diesel fuels.
To facilitate seamless access for motorists, the state government outlined three key CNG refueling facilities now operating across Delta State:
- NIPCO CNG Station: Niger Cat Junction, Warri.
- NIPCO CNG Station: Summit Road, Asaba (beside Shoprite, near Ministry of Works).
- Matrix CNG Station: Aziza Junction, Warri.
The initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to modernize Delta State’s public transportation sector, lower transport fares for commuters, and safeguard public health through sustainable clean energy solutions.
