NAF Air Strikes Kill Over 15 Terrorists in Sambisa Forest
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed that its air component under Operation Hadin Kai neutralised more than 15 terrorists in Zuwa, Sambisa Forest.
According to the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the strikes were carried out on 3 September 2025 after credible intelligence and surveillance identified a new terrorist enclave west of Zuwa.
Ejodame explained that the precision mission targeted hideouts sheltering fighters and commanders behind recent hostilities in the Bitta axis.
“The strikes proved devastating, neutralising over 15 terrorists and demolishing key structures critical to their operations,” he stated.
He emphasised that the successful air interdiction demonstrated the NAF’s precision, professionalism, and commitment to dismantling terrorist networks in the North-East.
The operation also highlights NAF’s crucial support for ground troops in joint operations, ensuring better security for communities affected by insurgent activities.
Ejodame reassured Nigerians of the force’s dedication:
“Every successful strike brings Nigeria one step closer to lasting peace.”
