BBNaija 2025: New Season Winner to Take Home N150 Million – MultiChoice

MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced that the highly anticipated 10th season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will premiere on July 26, 2025, with a double launch scheduled for July 26 and 27.

Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, the organisers revealed that this year’s winner will walk away with a record-breaking grand prize of N150 million, the highest cash reward in the show’s history since its inception in 2006.

Popular media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return once again as host for the 2025 edition.
At the media event, Ebuka shared key milestones from the show’s journey over the years. “Big Brother Naija has featured 197 housemates across its nine seasons,” he said.
“The show has aired for 709 days in total, with a combined prize pool of N637 million awarded to winners so far,” he added.

Last year’s season, themed “No Loose Guard,” introduced a twist where contestants auditioned and entered the house in pairs. The duos were later unpaired, allowing housemates to compete individually.
At the end of the season, Kellyrae emerged as the winner of the N100 million prize, making history as the first married contestant to win the show.

For Season 10, the organisers reinstated physical auditions, which were held between May 16 and 18, following previous seasons’ virtual formats.

As the countdown begins, fans across the country are gearing up for another round of drama, strategy, alliances, and entertainment that have made Big Brother Naija one of the most followed reality shows in Africa.
