2025 WASSCE: WAEC Fixes Glitch, Reopens Result Portal for Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that the result portal for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School Candidates (WASSCE-SC) is now back online.

In a statement posted on its official X handle on Saturday, WAEC confirmed that candidates can once again access, check, and recheck their results after a temporary suspension caused by technical issues.

“The result portal is up again, candidates can now access, check and recheck their results for the WASSCE (SC), 2025. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the mishap and appreciate your understanding and support,” the statement read.

The development comes days after WAEC publicly admitted to grading errors in the marking of some serialised objective questions a revelation that drew widespread criticism from students, parents, and education stakeholders.

WAEC advised all affected candidates to log in to its official result-checking platform to confirm their updated scores and assured the public of its commitment to ensuring accuracy and transparency in the release of examination results.
