DOPF Congratulates Paul Bebenimibo on Appointment as Registrar of Nigeria Maritime University

The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has extended its congratulations to Paul Bebenimibo on his appointment as the new Registrar of the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko.

In a statement issued on April 22, and signed by the Chairman of the Forum, Emmanuel Enebeli, and the Secretary of the forum, Shedrack Onitsha, DOPF said the appointment is well deserved.

The statement partly reads, “On behalf of the Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF), we congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment as the new Registrar of the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko. This prestigious appointment is a testament to your exemplary leadership and unmatched commitment to academic excellence.”

The forum highlighted Bebenimibo’s impressive background, noting his “years of distinguished service as the Head of the Department of Broadcasting, Journalism and Media Studies at Delta State University, Abraka, coupled with your previous role at the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), have clearly marked you out as a progressive.”

DOPF expressed confidence in Bebenimibo’s abilities, stating, “We are confident that your wealth of experience, dedication, and integrity will serve as a driving force for growth and innovation at NMU. Bebenimibo’s appointment was confirmed during the 21st Governing Council meeting after a thorough selection process, underscoring the trust and confidence the university’s leadership has in his capabilities.
