Seun Kuti Vows Beef With Wizkid Is ‘For Life’

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has declared that his long-standing rift with Grammy-winning artist Wizkid will not be resolved, stating that the grudge is “on for life.”

Speaking during a recent appearance on the Selah Meditate podcast, Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, dismissed any possibility of reconciliation when asked about his relationship with Wizkid.

The host had inquired whether both artists had settled their differences, but Seun responded firmly, emphasizing that the issue remains unresolved due to remarks allegedly made about his late father.

“I do not want to talk about that n***a, what is there to say? There is nothing to say about him It is on for life, I do not have an anything to say about but the grudge is on for life,” the singer said.

Seun Kuti’s statement underscores the deep-rooted nature of the feud, which appears tied to personal and legacy-related sensitivities involving Fela Kuti, a pioneer of Afrobeat music.

As of now, Wizkid has not publicly responded to the latest remarks.
