Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has officially received his All Progressives Congress (APC) membership card, marking his formal alignment with the party.
The presentation was made by Rivers APC Chairman, Tony Okocha, at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.
The handover signifies Governor Fubara’s commitment to the party and is seen as a step toward strengthening the APC’s presence in the state.
As previously reported by Asaba Metro, Fubara defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This development underscores the APC’s growing influence in Rivers State and Governor Fubara’s strategic role within the party.
