Oborevwori Hails Cubana Millennium City as Strategic Investment, Visits Exhibition Booth at Delta Economic and Investment Summit

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has commended the vision behind the Cubana Millennium City, describing it as one of the most significant private-sector real estate investments driving the state’s economic transformation.

Governor Oborevwori gave the commendation on Tuesday when he visited the Cubana Millennium City exhibition booth at the ongoing Delta State Economic and Investment Summit 2026 in Asaba, where he received a briefing on the landmark mixed-use development being undertaken by the Cubana Group.

The Governor applauded the Chairman of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu “Obi Cubana”, for demonstrating confidence in Delta State through the ambitious investment, noting that the project aligns with his administration’s vision of promoting sustainable urban development, attracting private capital, creating jobs, and expanding the state’s economic base.

According to Governor Oborevwori, Cubana Millennium City represents the kind of transformative investment capable of redefining modern urban living while stimulating economic activities across multiple sectors, including construction, hospitality, commerce, tourism, and real estate.

He stated that the Delta State Government remains committed to creating an enabling environment for businesses and investors through policies that encourage investment, improve infrastructure, and strengthen public-private partnerships.

The Governor further described the Cubana Millennium City as a strategic investment that complements the objectives of the Delta State Economic and Investment Summit, which seeks to showcase the state’s enormous investment opportunities and position Delta as one of Nigeria’s leading destinations for local and international investors.

Officials at the Cubana Millennium City exhibition booth took the Governor through the master plan and key features of the development, highlighting its world-class residential, commercial, recreational, and hospitality components designed to deliver a modern lifestyle destination in Delta State.

The visit attracted the attention of delegates, investors, business leaders, and participants at the summit, many of whom commended the scale of the project and its potential to contribute significantly to employment generation, infrastructure development, and long-term economic growth.
