Oborevwori Describes Oluremi Tinubu as an ‘Amazon’ as She Turns 66

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, commending her commitment to the welfare of vulnerable Nigerians.

In a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Oborevwori joined Nigerians and well-wishers in celebrating the First Lady, describing her as a compassionate woman whose humanitarian efforts have touched the lives of women, children, families and other vulnerable groups.

The governor commended Oluremi Tinubu for her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and her contributions to initiatives focused on social welfare, empowerment and human capital development.

He described her as an “Amazon” whose humanitarian interventions had complemented government efforts to improve the lives of disadvantaged Nigerians.

According to Oborevwori, the First Lady’s experience as a teacher, lawmaker and First Lady had positioned her to better understand the challenges facing families and communities, particularly those at the margins of society.

He said her support for women, children and other vulnerable citizens remained worthy of recognition, adding that her interventions formed part of broader efforts to promote a more inclusive society.

Oborevwori wished Senator Tinubu continued good health, wisdom and strength to sustain her humanitarian engagements and contributions to national development.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, we celebrate an Amazon who has continued to support her beloved husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in making life meaningful for the downtrodden and less privileged in our society,” the governor said.
