Oborevwori Celebrates Olu of Warri at 42, Commends Impact on Delta Development
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Olu of Warri Kingdom, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, on the occasion of his 42nd birthday, describing him as a pillar of unity and development in Delta State.
In a goodwill message issued in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor acknowledged the monarch’s growing influence not only within the Warri Kingdom but across Delta State, particularly in fostering peace, cultural pride, and economic progress.
Governor Oborevwori noted that since ascending the throne, the Olu of Warri has continued to play a significant role in strengthening traditional institutions and promoting harmonious coexistence among communities in the state.
He praised the monarch’s leadership style, which he said is anchored on dignity, vision, and a deep sense of responsibility to his people.
“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Delta State, I warmly celebrate His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, as he marks his 42nd birth anniversary,” the governor stated.
“Your reign continues to inspire confidence and progress, not just within Warri Kingdom but across Delta State, through your commitment to unity, peace, and development.”
The governor also commended the Olu’s contributions to advancing economic activities and attracting positive attention to the Warri axis, noting that his leadership has helped to position the area as a hub of cultural and economic significance in the Niger Delta.
He prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for the monarch, expressing confidence that his reign would bring even greater development to the people of Warri Kingdom and Delta State at large.
