If You Love Children, You Wouldn’t Bring Them to the World — Nancy Isime
Popular Nigerian actress and television host Nancy Isime has sparked a fierce online debate after making a candid declaration about motherhood during a recent podcast appearance.
When asked if she loved children, Isime said yes. But when pressed on how many she would like to have, her answer took an unexpected turn.
“You know the crazy thing about loving children, I feel like if you really love children you wouldn’t want to bring them to the world,” she said.
Asked to explain, she fired back: “Are you not suffering, is earth not ghetto, you’re not going through a lot, don’t you wish somedays that you were not born, did you ask to be here, thank you I rest my case.”
When the host followed up by asking if she was saying she would not have children at all, Isime did not back down: “No, everybody has to suffer, they will come and suffer their own, they’re not gonna escape it.”
The podcast clip continues to circulate widely, fueling conversations about motherhood, mental health, and personal choice.
