May 18 Inauguration Mass for Pope Leo XIV – Vatican

The Vatican has announced that the inauguration Mass for Pope Leo XIV will be held on Sunday, May 18, in St. Peter’s Square.
The event, which comes 10 days after the historic election of Robert Francis Prevost as the first American pontiff, is expected to draw world leaders and dignitaries from around the globe.
According to AFP report, in the lead-up to the Mass, Pope Leo XIV will meet with journalists on Monday, followed by a session with diplomats accredited to the Holy See on Friday, the Vatican said.
The pontiff’s first general audience is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, while his meeting with members of the Roman Curia the Vatican’s top officials will take place on Saturday, May 24.
