How to Check Your Shortlisted Status, Complete Your Dashboard Upload for CDCFIB Recruitment

If you applied to the CDCFIB recruitment exercise covering agencies like the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS) and Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)), here’s how to check if you’ve been shortlisted and what to do if you’ve gotten the “Congratulations” page with access to a dashboard.

Step 1: Log In

Visit the official portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng/.

Use your National Identification Number (NIN) and your registered phone number as your login credentials. (These are the unique details you used when you applied.)

After logging in, if you are shortlisted you should land on a “Congratulations” page.

Step 2: Access Your Dashboard

On the congratulations screen, look for the arrow or link that takes you to your dashboard.

A photo placeholder (your passport photograph)

Your name, NIN, state of origin, and other details you originally input.

If no passport photo is shown, you’ll need to upload one.

Step 3: Upload Your Passport Photograph

Upload a clear passport-sized photograph with a white background.

Make sure the photo meets the size requirements (check the portal for size limits).

Having no photo or a bad photo may delay or invalidate your application.

Step 4: Complete Your Education Details

Secondary School:

Enter the full name of your school (e.g., Good Luck Secondary School)

Also include the Local Government Area (LGA) where the school is located and the State.

These three details (school name, LGA, State) are very important for correctness.

Tertiary Institution (if applicable):

Fill in the full name of your institution + the State where it is located.

Input your graduation grade (First Class, Upper Second Class, Lower Second, Third Class, etc.).

Step 5: Select Your Examination Date & Time

On the dashboard, you will be required to pick a date and a time for your Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The date window runs (for example) from the 12th to the 19th of the scheduled month.

Choose a time you are confident you can meet.

Important: You must log in to your dashboard 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time. Failure to do so may lead to automatic submission or disqualification.

Step 6: Prepare for the Exam Logistics

Ensure you are sitting the exam in a location with a reliable internet connection and stable power supply, you will be monitored and the system may auto-submit if there’s disruption.

If your home connection is unreliable, use a trusted environment.

Charge your laptop or power source well and test your setup ahead of time.

Final Reminders

Only use the official portal: Beware of messages or sites demanding payment or claiming early shortlisting, the official process does not require any payment.

Double-check your details before submission, any mismatch (school name, state, grade) can cause disqualification.

Screenshot your completed dashboard after submission, in case of any future queries or technical problems.
