FAAN Launches ACHRAMS to Improve Airport Transport, Security

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has introduced the Airport Car Hire Rank Management System (ACHRAMS), a new digital platform aimed at improving airport transportation services across the country.

The authority announced the initiative on its official X (formerly Twitter) page, describing ACHRAMS as a smart solution designed to enhance passenger experience, strengthen airport security, improve traffic management and streamline airport car hire operations.

According to FAAN, the system is expected to modernise airport transportation by introducing a more organised and efficient car hire management process while ensuring better coordination between operators and passengers.

The authority stated that ACHRAMS will also help improve security through enhanced monitoring of airport transport activities and support seamless traffic flow within airport premises.

The launch of the platform forms part of FAAN’s broader efforts to leverage technology in improving operational efficiency and delivering safer, smarter and more reliable services to air travellers across Nigeria.

The authority urged stakeholders and airport users to embrace the initiative, noting that the system is designed to deliver a more secure, transparent and convenient airport transportation experience.
