Delta Begins Police Constable Recruitment Screening

The Delta State Police Command has announced the commencement of physical and credential screening for shortlisted applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.

The exercise will take place at the Cenotaph, Asaba, starting Monday, March 9, 2026, and will run until Friday, April 18, 2026.

In a statement made available to journalists in Warri on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, said the screening would be conducted by the Police Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

According to the statement, the screening exercise will be conducted strictly based on the date and time indicated on each applicant’s invitation slip.

Candidates who applied for the recruitment are expected to report to the venue with the required documents for verification as part of the selection process.

The recruitment drive is part of a nationwide effort by the federal government to boost manpower in the Nigeria Police Force and strengthen internal security across the country.

Authorities advised applicants to adhere strictly to the screening schedule and guidelines to avoid disqualification.
