‘Accept Defeat’ — Charles Okocha Fires Back at Portable Over Biting Claim

Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has denied allegations by controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, that he bit him during their celebrity boxing rematch in Lagos, insisting the claim is false and urging the singer to accept defeat.

The rematch, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, ended in Okocha’s favour after Portable was disqualified for abandoning the agreed wrestling-style rules and throwing punches before walking out of the ring.

Following the bout, Portable alleged that Okocha bit him on the back and locked his neck during the contest, claiming the incident forced him to stop fighting.

Reacting during an appearance on TVC Entertainment, Okocha dismissed the allegation, explaining that he wore a mouth guard throughout the fight, making it impossible for him to bite his opponent.

“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying.”

The actor also rejected the accusation in humorous terms, saying he had no reason to bite the singer.

“I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that. He should just accept defeat.”

The latest exchange adds another chapter to the ongoing rivalry between the two entertainers, whose celebrity boxing rematch ended in controversy and sparked widespread reactions across social media.
