CDCFIB Postpones Opening of Screening and Verification Portal Opening for Shortlisted Candidates

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the postponement of the opening of its portal for shortlisted candidates scheduled to undergo physical screening and document verification.

This was disclosed in a public announcement signed by the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd), and shared on the Board’s official X handle on Monday, December 1.

The portal, which was initially slated to open today, December 1, 2025, has now been put on hold until further notice.

The Board noted that a new opening date will be communicated in due course.

Shortlisted applicants have been advised to regularly check the official recruitment portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, for updates on the revised schedule.

The Board added that subsequent announcements will be made through its official website and verified social media channels.

Maj. Gen. Jibril apologized for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and expressed the Board’s appreciation for the patience and continued interest of applicants participating in the ongoing recruitment exercise.

The announcement comes amid heightened anticipation from thousands of applicants hoping to advance to the next stage of the recruitment process across the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services.
