Nigerian Woman Stabbed to Death in UK Flat

A 60-year-old Nigerian woman, Nkiru Chima, has been found dead with multiple stab wounds in her apartment in Romford, UK.

The Metropolitan Police received a distress report from the British Transport Police on Sunday, July 27, and officers discovered Chima’s lifeless body at the scene.

According to Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke, Chima’s death is suspected to be linked to the death of a 20-year-old man who was killed on the same day.

Yorke stated, “As our enquiries have progressed, we are confident that Nkiru’s tragic death is connected to the death of a 20-year-old man on the train tracks at Romford station earlier that evening.”

The police are continuing their investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Yorke added, “Our thoughts continue to remain with Nkiru’s family at this difficult time. Our officers will be continuing enquiries and we encourage anyone with information to contact us.”
