As the political battle for the soul of Delta North Senatorial District intensifies, frontline support group for the enthronement of Prince Ned Nwoko as Anioma Senator in the Red Chambers, Delta North Solidarity Forum has reiterated its call to all Anioma Sons and Daughters to rally round Nwoko to ensure a massive victory in the 2019 general elections.
The State Coordinator of the group, Mr Friday Omesiete while speaking to ASABA METRO at the end of the group’s monthly senatorial meeting in Issele Uku on Saturday, February 24, 2018, said that, Prince Ned Nwoko is the messiah to rescue the decaying profile of the Anioma people not just at the Senate building but the World at large.
Omesiete stressed that the Senatorial ambition of Prince Nwoko is to consolidate on his outstanding performance at the House of Representatives and rekindle prosperity and economic development through out the length and breadth of Delta North.
In his words; “I am calling on all Anioma Sons and Daughters to rally round Hon Prince Ned Nwoko on his senatorial ambition come 2019 as he is the best candidate to represent Anioma at the red Chambers. With him at the Senate, Anioma nation will be the envy of every other senatorial districts in Nigeria because Prince Ned Nwoko have all it takes to turn around the fortunes of the Anioma people and restore the pride of the region which has hitherto been bastardized by the activities of corrupt and selfish individuals.”
Mr. Omesiete added that, the track records of Prince Nwoko as a Federal Representative and as an individual is overwhelming, stressing that the reward of hardwork is more work and that is why the group is taking the burden of heralding the vanguard of Nwoko’s Senatorial ambition beyond social media walls to engaging in monthly senatorial meetings across the 9 local governments of Anioma nation.
At the end of the meeting which was well attended by hundreds of its members, the group vowed to input more effort to ensure that Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko emerges as a Senatorial candidate and emerges victorious in 2019.
The membership of the Delta North Solidarity Forum, is drawn from all the 9 Local Government Areas in Delta North Senatorial District.
