Delta Govt Warns Public Against Fake Admission List for College of Nursing Sciences

The Delta State Government has alerted the public, particularly applicants and their parents, to disregard a fake online publication claiming that the 2025/2026 admission list for the Delta State College of Nursing Sciences, Asaba, Agbor, Warri, and Eku campuses has been released.

According to a Government Special Announcement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, the fraudulent post also alleged that sales of a “supplementary admission form for the third batch” were ongoing, with unsuspecting applicants directed to contact certain fake phone numbers supposedly belonging to school registrars.

The government clarified that the publication is the handiwork of fraudsters attempting to extort money from unsuspecting candidates and their parents.

“Members of the public, especially applicants seeking admission into any of the Colleges of Nursing Sciences, are advised to ignore the said publication as it is a deliberate attempt to deceive and exploit prospective students,” the statement read.

The government further emphasized that no money or form of gratification is required for admission into the colleges, as the process is exclusively managed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.

The Commissioner for Health assured that efforts are already underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators behind the fake publication and bring them to justice.
