Chioma and Davido Pay Emotional Tribute to Late Son Ifeanyi at Wedding

Nigerian music superstar Davido and his wife Chioma Adeleke paid a heartfelt tribute to their late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, during their glamorous white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025.

Chioma, in a touching gesture, carried a wedding bouquet with a small photo of Ifeanyi pinned to it. Sharing the moment on Instagram, she wrote:

“My best friend walked me into forever…. Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, mummy.”

Davido also honored their late son by wearing custom cufflinks engraved with Ifeanyi’s image. Responding to Chioma’s post, the singer wrote: “Till Infinity.”

Ifeanyi, the couple’s first child together, tragically passed away in October 2022 at just three years old after drowning at the family’s Banana Island residence in Lagos. His death shocked fans across Nigeria and around the world, sparking an outpouring of grief and sympathy for the celebrity couple.

The Miami wedding was the grand finale of Davido and Chioma’s love story, following their court marriage in March 2023 and traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.

The couple’s emotional tributes ensured that Ifeanyi’s memory remained an important part of their special day, symbolizing a love that will last “always and forever.”
