AY Rebuilds Lekki Mansion After Tragic Fire Incident

Popular Nigerian comedian and filmmaker, Ayo Makun, also known as AY, has unveiled his rebuilt mansion in Lekki, Lagos, two years after a fire razed the property.

In a heartfelt video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, AY posted a montage that juxtaposed clips of the burnt remains of his former home with visuals of the newly reconstructed mansion. The video’s emotional voiceover captured his journey through loss, betrayal, and redemption.

“Two years ago today, everything went up in flames: my home, my peace, my comfort zone. And that was just the beginning. I have seen betrayal, lies, and storms that tried to silence everything I built,” AY narrated.

“But I am still here, not because I am lucky, but because God is faithful… every setback was a setup for something greater. Thank You God for beauty after ashes.”

The stunning visuals showcased the mansion’s elegant interior, complete with marble floors, grand staircases, and a tasteful blend of modern and Afrocentric design.

It will be recalled that the fire incident, which occurred two years ago, left the property and its contents completely destroyed. AY and his family were temporarily displaced, but they received immense support from fans, colleagues, and members of the entertainment industry during the ordeal.
