32 Teams Set for FIFA Club World Cup

The revamped FIFA  Club World Cup is set to kick off in the United States this weekend, featuring 32 teams from around the world.

Europe tops the representation list with 12 teams, followed closely by South America with six. Asia and Africa each have four teams, as does the CONCACAF region, comprising North and Central America and the Caribbean. Oceania has one representative, and the host nation rounds out the lineup with two teams.

Teams qualified for the tournament through two routes: as continental champions or via a club ranking based on performances in continental competitions over a four-year period.
