Uche Montana Speaks Out After Ned Nwoko Links Her to Regina Daniels’ Drug Issues

Nollywood actress Uche Montana has publicly denied any connection to the alleged drug-related controversy involving fellow actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Montana issued a statement via her Instagram page on Monday after Nwoko, in a lengthy Facebook post, accused some of Regina’s siblings and close associates including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana of undermining his wife’s rehabilitation process.

Nwoko alleged that the group repeatedly flouted medical restrictions by visiting Regina during therapy and “bringing her the same drugs she was being treated for.”

Reacting to the claims, Uche Montana described the allegations as false and malicious.

“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims,” she wrote.

“For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”

Ongoing Controversy Around Regina Daniels’ Marriage

The actress’s response comes amid escalating tension between Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, whose marriage has been in the public spotlight following a string of explosive social media exchanges.

Two weeks ago, Regina alleged in a viral video that she was suffering domestic abuse, describing herself as a “slave” in her husband’s house.

Nwoko dismissed the allegations, claiming his wife was battling drug and alcohol addiction and had become physically violent toward household staff.

In a counterclaim, Regina accused her husband of hypocrisy, alleging that he introduced her to the substances he now blames for her behavior. She further accused him of seizing her phones, restricting her movements, and forcing himself on her whenever she resisted.
