- Declan Rice (Arsenal)– Midfielder, engine of the title-chasing side
- Erling Haaland (Manchester City)– Forward, 26 goals at the time of nomination
- Antoine Semenyo (Manchester City/Bournemouth)– Forward, 16 goals after a January move from Bournemouth
- Igor Thiago (Brentford)– Forward, 22 goals in a standout season
- Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)– Midfielder, key playmaker for Forest
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland headlines the list after another prolific season in front of goal, while Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes stands out for his 19 assists and creative influence.
Arsenal dominate the shortlist with three nominees, Gabriel Magalhães, David Raya, and Declan Rice, reflecting their strong defensive record, midfield control, and overall title challenge.
Brentford’s Igor Thiago and Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White are also recognised for their breakthrough performances and consistency, while Antoine Semenyo earns a spot after a strong campaign split between Bournemouth and Manchester City.
The Premier League stated that nominees were selected based on individual statistics, consistency, and overall impact on their teams throughout the 2025/26 season.
