Paul Breaks Silence After Peter’s Latest Claims

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has broken his silence following fresh claims made by his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), about their late mother and Peter’s wife, Lola Omotayo.

Peter recently revisited some of the events surrounding the long-running dispute within the Okoye family, making fresh revelations about the relationship between Lola and their late mother.

According to Peter, a family meeting was held at his residence in Lagos following the birth of his son. He alleged that the meeting, which involved their mother, Paul, Jude and other family members, later became tense over his relationship with Lola.

Peter further claimed that Lola was asked to end her relationship with him and alleged that she was treated poorly during the confrontation.

He also spoke about the period when their mother was ill, stressing that Lola had remained supportive and regularly visited her in the hospital.

“When my mom was sick, Lola stayed with her in the hospital till midnight and took the pastors back home every day for over two months,” Peter said.

Reacting to Peter’s latest revelations, Paul shared a brief but emotional message on social media, referring to their late mother.

“Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting, Mum,” he wrote.

Paul did not directly respond to the specific claims made by Peter, but his message has drawn attention amid the renewed public discussion surrounding the Okoye family.

The latest development adds to the long-running tensions between the former P-Square members, whose disagreements have previously centred on family, business and their music career.
