Pastor Ibiyeomie Flaunts $2M Watch Collection – Says They’re All Gifted
Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has addressed viral social media chatter about his luxury wristwatch collection, stating that he owns watches worth over $2 million but did not buy them himself.
In a sermon responding to online discussions, the cleric said he has been pictured with highend watches reportedly worth around $2 million (about ₦3 billion), clarifying the timepieces were given to him as gifts.
“I don’t buy wristwatches,” Pastor Ibiyeomie said, explaining that a young man in his church felt divinely led to give him the watches because of his personal love for timepieces.
The pastor acknowledged that only a portion of his collection is seen on social media, but he emphasised that the luxury gifts are not the result of personal purchases.
Addressing critics, the preacher dismissed the scrutiny, saying analysing his watches online is “wasting their time” while he remains focused on ministry work and “solving problems” for others.
