Black Sherif Pays Medical Bills for Mothers, Donates Supplies at Military Hospital

Ghanaian rap sensation Black Sherif has gone beyond music to support underprivileged mothers at the 37 Military Hospital, fully settling their medical bills and donating essential items to ease their burden.

Through the Mohammed Ismail Sharrif Foundation, the award-winning artist covered unpaid treatment fees totaling GH₵50,696 for women in the Nkrumah and Yebuah wards who could not leave the hospital due to financial constraints.

In addition to covering medical expenses, Black Sherif donated large quantities of essential supplies, including assorted items to support the mothers’ welfare during recovery.

Officials at the hospital welcomed the gesture, noting that delays in discharge due to unpaid bills often add emotional and economic pressure on families. The donation highlights how private individuals and artists can complement public healthcare efforts to improve wellbeing for vulnerable communities.

Black Sherif’s action reflects a growing trend of artists using their influence and resources to make meaningful social impact, particularly in healthcare and maternal support.
