Mercy Chinwo Welcomes Baby No. 2, Releases New Song

Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have announced the arrival of their second child, marking the occasion with heartfelt prayers and the release of a brand-new song.

On Friday, Mercy shared stunning maternity photos on her Facebook page, expressing deep gratitude for the blessing.

“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy… multiplied our laughter… and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby,” she wrote.

She continued with a declaration of faith;“His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed.”

Mercy married Pastor Blessed on August 13, 2022, in a colourful wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt. Their first child, a son, was born on October 4, 2023.

In her announcement, she also praised her husband; “Oh my love @officialblessed an amazing father of TWO! The Lord has indeed been good to us.”

In the heat of the celebration, Mercy released a new single titled “Onyeoma” on Friday. Fans and well-wishers have flooded her social media pages with congratulatory messages.

One fan wrote: “Congratulations, baby, you’re welcome to the land of milk and honey.”
Another added: “God be praised, take your flower, ma; I celebrate you.”
